Relay for Life

TIME: 4 P.M. Friday – 4 P.M. Saturday
PLACE: CSULB track
Click HERE to sign up! We’ll provide a tent, food, and games at the event. Registration is $10. It’s not required, but getting sponsors are encouraged since it’s a fundraising event. Again, you don’t have to stay there the entire time. Email the time slot you can make it. Since we need someone on the track at all times, we’ll need people who can stay during odd hours. Don’t worry, you won’t be alone!

Tabling for Disasters

PLACE: In front of the psychology building (the area we had the Measles and Malaria tabling)
The goal of the tabling is to raise money for the International Relief Fund. They’re in charge of helping out with international disasters and calamities.

Safe Kids Training
As you know, American Red Cross is known for keeping people safe. This includes educating children about safety, which is something we’ll be doing later in the semester. If you’re interested in teaching children, you would first have to get trained on what to teach. The training will take place at 6:30 P.M. this Thursday, March 4 at the Greater Long Beach Chapter, so do not come to CBA-112 because we won’t be there! Training should only take approximately two hours.

T.V. Taping
Thursday, March 18 is our taping fundraiser for an upcoming series called “Romantically Challenged.” For every person who attends, we will receive $16. All funds will go straight to the Haiti Disaster Relief. The problem is… we need 15 people so sign up if you can go! You’ll be meeting in front (not inside) of CBA-112 for carpooling which is scheduled to leave by 3:30 P.M. Please reply to this email if you’re interested.
